My experienceI have been involved in different phases of home building since 1998. From that time on I have worked in several phases of residential construction, in different capacities and locations - both domestically and abroad.
I am trained as a home inspector through ICA, a nationally recognized inspector training program, and am a Certified Professional Inspector for InterNACHI - one of the largest and most respected home inspector organizations in the world. I am based out of South Siskiyou county in Mount Shasta, but work across a wide area covering much of Siskiyou and Shasta counties. I am also fluent in both English and Spanish. |
Who I am |
I grew up on the east coast in rural Massachusetts. I lived there until I graduated high school, and went off to college. I attended a small school in western North Carolina, where I majored in Environmental Studies. It was while I was in school that I began working in residential construction..
Out of college I worked as a lead carpenter for the Heifer Project, and then spent three years with the Peace Corps in Panama. In Panama I was project manager for a large scale development project, focusing on rural construction and aqueducts. Since returning from Panama in 2005 I have worked in different phases of the construction industry in California and New Mexico. I moved to Mount Shasta in 2008, and currently reside here with my beautiful wife and two daughters. In addition to inspecting, I also teach classes in Chemistry, Physics, and Anatomy at Mount Shasta High School. |
